The delegation of the State Revenue Committee, led by SRC Chairman Vardan Harutyunyan, took part in the 23rd session of the Customs Services Union in Almaty, Kazakhstan. According to the SRC Information and Public Relations Department, 25 decisions were made at the meeting on the peculiarities of the classification and declaration of certain goods in accordance with the EAEU Foreign Economic Activity Commodity Nomenclature and the procedure for exemption from payment of customs duties on the importation of certain types of goods into the EAEU territory. The decisions also referred to the optimization of customs procedures and customs control procedures for goods considered as humanitarian aid.
During the session, issues related to the integration of the EAEU Integrated Information System into the Priority Common Processes in the Customs, as well as issues on the Information Interaction Providing Registrations and Controls of the Temporary Import and Export of Vehicles from the EAEU Area.
