Armenia's currency volume in the interbank market decreased by 1.5% from June 19 to 23, after the 6.5% increase over the previous week. In parallel with this, the dollar's purchases in the intra-banking currency market almost duplicated last week's dynamics, when the dynamics of transactions in the euro went down to decline, and the ruble transactions were activated. And it is already a month that the foreign exchange market is empty.

As a result, during the reporting week the dram continued to strengthen against the dollar from 481.5 to 480.5 drams / $ 1 level, retaining its position against the euro to 537 drams, and strengthening against the ruble from 8.3 to 8.0 drams / 1 RUB level.

According to the press service of the Central Bank of Armenia (CBA), no deals were concluded on NASDAQ OMX Armenia in June 19-23. At the same time, the volume of weekly reporting in the interbank market of foreign currency made $ 6.5 mln, the weighted average exchange rate was 480.68drams / $ 1 (last week: 482.18 drams). Particularly, the maximum volumes were recorded on Friday, $ 2.6 million, and the minimum volumes on Wednesday, $ 400,000. At the same time, the US dollar excange rate slows down from 30% to 20% in the intra-banking foreign exchange market, while sales down is from 36.7% to 0.3%.
In the euro transactions, the reverse dynamics of 56.5-15.4% was replaced by a downtrend of 39.1-0.15%, and in ruble transactions the sales fastened from 4.7% to 20.1% , and in buying transactions from 17.2% growth to 5.9% decline. As a result, $ 95.2 million was purchased by 479.88 / $ 1 AMD rate, 8.1 million Euros by 533.95 drams / 1 EUR average exchange rate and 1.1 billion rubles at the average exchange rate of 8,10AMD / 1 RUB. And $ 92.98 million was sold at the average exchange rate of 481.14 drams / $ 1, 13.5 mln. EUR by 538.26 / 1EUR average rate and 505.6 million rubles at with an average exchange rate of 8.18 AMD / 1 RUB.
