
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan received today the vice-president of the European Investment Bank (EIB), Vazil Gudak.
Evaluating the effectiveness of cooperation with the EIB, the Prime Minister stressed the importance of implementing investment projects in energy, transport, water, solid waste management and in the private sector. Karen Karapetyan talked about various aspects of reforms initiated by the government aimed at increasing efficiency, creating more favorable conditions for business, attracting investments.
Vasil Gudak, in his turn, noted that the EIB is ready to continue mutually beneficial cooperation with the government of the Republic of Armenia to implement the planned directions and new programs that will contribute to the development of Armenia.
The parties discussed issues related to the implementation of programs in the field of energy, transport, financing the private sector, discussed further steps and prospects for expanding cooperation.
