The volume of overdue loans in Armenian banks as of July 1, 2017 amounted to 34.4 billion drams. The annual rate of decline is 25.8%. The volume of extended loans annually decreased by 2.2% to 116.3 billion drams. In the second quarter, the volume of overdue loans increased by 2.2%, while the volume of extended loans decreased by 0.7%.

The share of extended and overdue loans as of July 1, 2017, made 4.70% (5.48%- last year, 4.83% -last trimester) and 1.39% (2.14%- last year, 1.39% - last trimester).

In the portfolio of overdue loans, 52% are long-term loans, and the remaining 48% are short-term loans with an absolute value of AMD 60.4 bln and AMD 55.8 bln respectively.

The lion's share in extended loans are long-term loans-57.6% or 19.8 billion drams, and the share of short-term loans is 42.64% or 14.6 billion drams.

According to the Central Bank of Armenia, the total volume of banking crediting as of July 1, 2017 has grown by 13.9% to 2,473 trillion, and only in the second trimester- by 2.1%.
