Tourist flow from Armenia to Georgia in 2017 Increased by 25.4% in July. According to the "Business Georgia" newspaper, in July of this year there was a considerable increase in the number of people traveling from Azerbaijan to Georgia, last month more tourists went from Azerbaijan to Georgia by 13.8% than in July of 2016. The flow of tourists from Russia increased by 60.4%, Armenia - 25.4%, Turkey - 0.6%, and Iran - 85.8%.

Overall, in July, Georgia received 982,487 foreign tourists, by 28.5% more than in the same period last year.

For comparison, it's worth mentioning that in the first half of this year, the number of visits by foreigners to Armenia exceeded 1.3 million, with an annual increase of 24.3%. Russia, Georgia and Iran are in the top three by the number of visits to Armenia. The number of Russian visitors increased by 33.7% to 241,000 in the reporting period. Georgia is on the second place with 151,000, with annual growth of 11%. On the third place is Iran with 89.8 thousand, with annual growth of 27.4%.
