Under the leadership of Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan a consultation took place in the Government where the RA Ministry of Agriculture presented to the representatives of farms the programs of development of the agricultural sector in different directions.

In his speech, the Prime Minister noted that the main goal of the government is to increase productivity in agriculture. "Based on our regional visits and conducted researches, we have highlighted the following areas: minimization of costs based on soil and climatic conditions, creating a more effective anti-disaster system, developing new complex solutions for efficient water resource management, maximum use of modern technologies in agriculture, the formation of a system through which it will be possible to have a clear idea of ​​what we will produce in the particular area, and through that system we will also support the training of relevant specialists, "Karen said.

Karapetyan highlighted the importance of providing consulting services in the field of agriculture.

As a result of all this, we will have a profitable and stable agriculture, which, in its turn, will lead to the increase of food security, substitution of some imported products by local products, increase in the quantity and range of goods exported from the country, which will lead to the creation of additional jobs places.
