
Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan visited the "Zangi" company of the IT sector, reports the government's press service. The head of the government got acquainted with the company's activities, achievements, current and prospective programs.
The head of government was welcomed by Zangi investor Eduard Marutyan and director Vahram Martirosyan, introducing the prime minister to the company's activities, achievements, current and long-term projects.
It was noted that" Zangi" is a new generation communication system that allows you to make free calls, video calls and convert messages. Zangi enables live video calls with 720p permission.
Director of "Zangi" Vahram Martirosyan informed that the app has 1.5 million subscribers and thousands of people are connected to it each day. The company has entered a new stage of development since 2016, in particular, has acquired 20+ Business-To-Business (B2B) partners from 12 countries worldwide. Now, "Zangi" participates in the creation of telecommunication infrastructures in the country.
The Armenian App offers low-speed internet access. It has also been reported that the "Antiblocking" technology developed by artificial intelligence of "Zangi", allows working in countries that limit the work of messengers.
This year Armenian App was introduced at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona and is now going to take part in major GITEX and Capacity Europe exhibitions in Dubai and London.
The head of the government attached importance to the consistent development of the IT sector, particularly the Armenian companies, underlining that this area will continue to be in the focus of the government. The prime minister added that the executive body is ready to discuss proposals and programs aimed at promoting private sector development in order to implement them.
