The State Food Safety Service, guided by the Annual Inspection Program, due to the risks and received alarms in the field of ice-cream production, since early July in the city of Yerevan and in the country's regions has set up control over the ice cream market.

The SFS provides details that inspections and observations are carried out of 19 companies engaged in the production and sale of ice-cream, including those who sell soft ice-cream, at the SAPS Food Chain Operators' database as of 01.06.2017.

Taking into account the fact that outdoor sale of soft ice-cream is prohibited, the Service has conducted tours and has suspended such sales. In other cases, soft ice cream has been sampled, which are still in the lab examination phase.
