The General Department of Civil Aviation of Armenia has discussed issues of bilateral cooperation with Lufthansa Technics, the press service of the General Department of Civil Aviation reports.

Head of the General Department of Civil Aviation at the Government of the Republic of Armenia Sergey Avetisyan, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia to the Federal Republic of Germany Mr. Ashot Smbatyan and Head of the Department of Flight Validity Vahram Sayadyan met with the Director General for Eastern Europe and CIS countries of "Lufthansa Group" Roland Schulz and Vice-President of the "Lufthansa Technics" Company for Eastern Europe and CIS countries Dmitry Zaytsev in Hamburg, Germany.

In the course of the meeting Sergey Avetisyan presented the indices of the Armenian civil aviation, the current dynamics and touched upon the prospects of possible cooperation with the German company.

Dmitry Zaytsev, in his turn, presented the activities carried out by Lufthansa Technics, including the production capacities of the company in foreign countries.

A number of issues related to the possibility of expanding the activity of the company in the Republic of Armenia were also discussed during the meeting.
