
In the framework of his official visit to Armenia, Dmitry Medvedev, the head of the Russian government, has signed a number of documents today in the field of communications, emergency spheres, as well as cooperation between regions of the two countries.
The agreement on international automobile communication between the governments of the Republic of Armenia and the Russian Federation was signed by RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan and Russian Transport Minister Maxim Sokolov.
A memorandum of understanding was signed to reduce tariffs for international communication services in roaming between the Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technologies of the Republic of Armenia and the Ministry of Transport of the Russian Federation. The document was signed by RA Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies Vahan Martirosyan and Minister of Communications and Mass Communications Nikolay Nikiforov.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of industrial safety regulation was signed between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Russian Federation and the RF Federal Agency for Ecological, Technological and Atmospheric Control. The document was signed by RA Minister of Emergency Situations Davit Tonoyan and Head of the Federal Agency for Ecological, Technological and Atomic Control Alexei Alyoshin.
The protocols on intentions between Gegharkunik province administration and Saratov region of Russia were signed by Gegharkunik regional governor Karen Botoyan and Saratov governor Valery Radaev.
