The annual summit of the Eurasian Stock Exchange is held for the first time in Yerevan. The headquarters of the union moved to Yerevan this year after having worked for 22 years in Istanbul.

One of the 12 co-founders of the Eurasian Stock Exchange Association in 1995 became the Yerevan Stock Exchange. The structure supports the development of the Eurasian region, the Mediterranean zone capital markets. At present, the union has more than 20 stock exchanges. Representatives of 23 organizations from all 20 countries are in Yerevan.
