Unibank Board Chairman Gagik Zakaryan stated that personnel changes in the Board of the Bank are aimed at further development of the bank and strengthening its positions in the financial market.

By the decision of the Board of the Bank from November 6, 2017 the Deputy Chairman of the Board was appointed Director of Operational Service and Information Systems Mesrop Hakobyan.

So far, Vardan Atayan, who holds the position of Chairman of the Board, has accepted the Bank's Board's proposal to assume the post of Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of Unibank and to coordinate the Bank's further strategic development.

Vardan Atayan's candidacy will be submitted to the Bank's Board of Directors for approval.

"Being included in the Board, Vardan Atayan will be able to concentrate on the bank's strategic issues and work towards improving the efficiency and profitability of the bank. As a result of 16 years of Vardan Atayan's activity in the board of the bank, a huge amount of work was done in the bank. Mesrop Hakobyan has been working in Unibank since 2004, has more than 15 years of effective work experience in the Armenian banking system. His responsibility was to manage branch network and information technology, operational activities, card business, as well as the latest technologies.
