First Deputy Chairman of the State Revenue Committee Samvel Avetikyan and Deputy Chairman Armen Sakapetoyan had working meetings in Beijing with representatives of the Chinese People's Customs Service and the Chinese company "Nuktek".

In collaboration with the latter, the Committee carries out a project on modernization of customs control technology and equipment.

According to the RA SRC Information and Public Relations Department, the SRC delegation got acquainted with the capabilities of the Chinese Customs Service Information Center and approaches to the problem solving. Armenian counterparts were presented with modern equipment for inspection. The SRC delegation visited the largest commercial terminal in Yinshangan on the Pacific island to study the automated terminal system. Armenian counterparts were also presented with X-ray equipment and control at the Tiangin customs point. The State Revenue Committee delegation examined the experience gained from X-ray scanning of goods.
