As of October 31, 2017 the number of motor vehicles with CASCO (Compulsory insurance of responsibility for the use of motor vehicles) contract amounted to 482,855. In September this index has exceeded by 3499.

According to the data of the Armenian Motor Insurers' Bureau, the amount of compensation paid in October was 1.1 billion drams. This is 283 million drams more than the same period last year.

As of the end of October 2017, the loss ratio is about 62%, which is 10 percentage points higher than the same period last year.

According to the Bureau, most contracts in the sphere of CASCO have been signed by "Rosgostrakh-Armenia" - 126,013 contracts, the amount of accrued insurance premiums amounted to 3 bln 975.3 mln drams. The second is Ingo Armenia with 103,790 CASCO contracts, which has collected 3,332.7 mln AMD.

The third place is occupied by "Nairi Insurance" with 96,180 contracts and about 3 billion 170,301 million drams. The fourth is RESO, with 64,443 contracts and 1 billion 984.2 million drams accrued insurance premiums. The fifth place occupies Sil Holding, with 58,952 contracts and around 1 billion 852,580 million drams. The "Armenia Insurance" is in the sixth place with 33, 477 contracts and 1 billion 45.9 million AMD insurance premiums.
