
The United States refuses to grant nonimmigrant visas to Armenians (more than 50%). Such data are presented in the US State Department's official report, which refers to the number of refusal to grant non-immigrant visas to foreign nationals in 2017.
The report notes that 51.87% of Armenias are denied. Compared with the index of 2016, the number of refusals has increased by 5.99%.
The following indices of Armenia's neighboring countries are: Georgia - 61.09% (down 1.73%), Azerbaijan - 27.63% (growth of 12.8%), Iran - 58.66% (13.64% growth), Turkey - 17.86% (increase by 4.24%).
The number of rejections from Russia increased by 2,32% to 11.61%.
In 2017, residents of Andorra, Liechtenstein, Monaco and San Marino were among the most desirable guests in the United States who did not receive any rejection. They are followed by Cyprus (1.69%), Argentina (1.79%), Uruguay (3.19%), Hong Kong (3.45%) and Oman (3.46%).
