In the framework of measures aimed at improving the business environment, the RA State Revenue Committee on December 1, by the instruction of SRC Chairman Vardan Harutyunyan, has invited the foreign economic activity committee to find out the problems and issues in the customs sphere through dialogue.

"The purpose of the meeting is to find out the obstacles that arise in the course of our work so that we pursue our daily work to eliminate existing problems," said Gegham Movsisyan, SRC Pre-Audit Department Chief. According to Customs Control Department Chief Gevorg Saghoyan, adopting customs policies, simplification of customs procedures, creation of more favorable working conditions for importers and exporters, such meetings give an opportunity to understand business approaches on customs reform. "Following the trend of modern technology development, the SRC is pursuing complete automation of customs procedures, but as long as the customs service-business contact has not been completely eliminated, the main purpose of today's meeting is to analyze the risks emerging during that communication," said the Head of the Customs Control Department.
