Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan met with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in Davos today.

The RA Prime Minister first thanked the Netherlands for the technical and financial support for the reforms being implemented in Armenia, including the international financial institutions, the EBRD, the World Bank and the IMF, as well as through the Dutch group, a member of which is Armenia.

The Prime Minister informed his counterpart about the reforms being implemented in Armenia, introduced macroeconomic indices and positive trends of growth, noting that cooperation with the EU and good neighborly relations with Iran make Armenia interesting in terms of entering regional markets.

The sides touched upon Armenia-EU relations and opportunities provided by the Comprehensive and Extended Partnership Agreement signed last November.

Prime Minister Karapetyan presented the reforms launched by the Armenian government in agriculture, underlining that there is a great potential for cooperation. "We are extremely interested in the experience and knowledge of the Netherlands as one of the key countries in the world of agriculture," said Karen Karapetyan.
