
ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK, which is the leader of the country's rural crediting, has become one of the top five in terms of total equity as of January 1, 2018, and its assets and liabilities are in the top five.
According to Armenian Banks' Express-Ranking, ACBA-Credit Agricole Bank's total capital made 60.2 billion drams or $ 124.4 million at the same date, with an annual growth rate from 5.4% to 6.4%.
The assets of the bank grew by 9.8% (3,8% in 2016) to 311,02bln drams or $ 642,5mln, in the structure of which 184,6 bln drams are concentrated in the loan portfolio (including leasing) , the annual growth- 5.5%, cash made 67.4 billion drams (annual growth -31.4%) and 21.1 billion drams made securities portfolio (20.7% annual decline).
It should be noted that ACBA-CREDIT AGRICOLE BANK has been operating in Armenia since 1995. Since September 2006, it has been a major shareholder in Europe's largest credit agricole S.A. group of banks, with a share of 15.56% in capital, followed by SJSC "Sacam International" (a member of Credit Agricole S.A group), with a share of 12.44%, there are also 10 rural cooperatives in the capital. The bank has 58 branches (in 3 places).
