Consumer prices in Armenia increased by 2.7% in January 2018, as compared with the same period of 2017.

At the same time, the prices for food products (including alcoholic beverages and cigarettes) increased by 4% during the reporting period, while prices for non-food products and services increased by 3.5% and 0.6%, respectively.

Consumer prices rose by 2.7% in January, compared with December 2017, mainly due to the increase in prices for food and alcoholic beverages by 5.7%.
