Deputy Minister of Transport, Communication and Information Technologies of Armenia Amalya Yeghoyan participates in the discussion on "20 targets up to 2020" on the second stage of the Eastern Partnership multilateral cooperation in Brussels.

The Eastern Partnership platform includes the goals and challenges of economic development and market opportunities.

One of the key points of the platform is the promotion of innovation and technology as a driving force of digital economy.

Presenting the experience and achievements of the IТT sector of the Republic of Armenia, Amalya Yeghoyan emphasized the role of electronic communications infrastructure, the strategy of increasing security in the digital economy, e-commerce promotion, and the introduction of innovative and start-up ecosystems in other branches of economy, etc.

She also highlighted the need to revise roaming tariffs, technological and numerical skills development with EU member states.

The purpose of the conference is to achieve sustainable economic development, constructive reforms and progress through joint exchange of experience, identifying new challenges and forming a more favorable legal framework.
