The Public Services Regulatory Commission of Armenia discussed the issue of applying a fine to "Veolia Jur" closed joint-stock company at the May 23, 2018 session.

The Public Services Regulatory Commission of the Republic of Armenia, considering above mentioned issue, has decided to impose a fine of 5 million AMD on the company "Veolia Jur" Closed Joint-Stock Company (hereinafter referred to as "Vendor") for violation of rules of collection and calibration of commercial metering devices of a number of subscribers, breach of drinking water supply and wastewater services requirements, defined by the Commission's No 378- N decision dated November 30, 2016 .

At the same time, the Company was instructed to carry out recalculations within two months and return the unreasonable amounts paid by the subscribers.

Within the same period Company:

shall be obliged to examine and pay the respective damages to the subscribers for all cases of violation of the order and timing of collection, installation and calibration of the Commercial Metering device.
