The Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources of the Republic of Armenia and the Public Services Regulatory Commission have started discussions over the reduction of electricity tariffs.

"Yesterday media reported that such a discussion was held in the government. Such discussion was not held in the government; there was a discussion with the specialists of the Public Services Regulatory Commission at the Ministry. We have started preliminary discussions to understand whether there will be a change in tariffs in case of making the necessary analyzes, "said Minister of Energy and Natural Resources Arthur Grigoryan at a briefing on May 30 in the National Assembly.

According to him, the discussions are underway, they are not over yet, they will last another one or two days.

The Minister of Energy also mentioned that it was possible that the tariff remained the same.
