Large capital outflows have not been recorded in the Armenian banking system during recent events.

According to Andranik Grigoryan, Head of the Financial System Sustainability and Development Department of the Central Bank, the banking system was able to withstand the events, proving its independence. "Using the necessary tools, we were able to secure the financial stability of the banking system," he said.

Speaking of the upcoming forecasts, the banker said that expectations are more than positive.

"Both deposits and loans have already grown, especially of individuals, which are indicators," he said, noting that he does not see threats to the financial stability of the Armenian banking system.
