With the help of Business Armenia, "Sharoyan-Saryan" company has become an exporter from the importer, supplying the "Halep" brand sweets and spices to several markets in the world.

"Halep" received the first export order in 2017, with the support of Business Armenia, participating at the exhibition "Eurasia Week" in Astana. During a business forum in Geneva in February, 2018 an export contract was signed with the French partner organization, negotiations with Swiss counterparts are ongoing.

After the registration in the US Food and Drug Registration Agency (FDA) and obtaining the right to enjoy the privileged trade regime (GSP), it began to carry out regular exportations to the United States.

"The company has also been registered within the framework of the EU GSP + preferential trade regime, which was launched this January in the REX electronic certification system, which we have also supported and expect that it will be able to successfully use the simplified export preferential regime for export of goods of up to € 6,000.", noted Armen Avak Avakyan, Executive Director of Business Armenia.

"It was very important to be able to export and go to the international market. Currently, we export Armenian pakhlava, lokum, nougat, other eastern sweets and Armenian spices to 5 countries, which is a great opportunity for us to develop, "said Gevorg Saryan, the founder and director of" Sharoyan-Saryan "company.

"Halep" stores are expanding as well, thanks to export orders, high quality and competent organization of work. The company currently has stores in Yerevan, Vanadzor and Gyumri," says Anahit Mkrtchyan, Head of Business Armenia Export Support Department.
