RA Minister of Finance Atom Janjughazyan received the delegation headed by Eric Eraysp, the Director of the sovereign rating agency of Fitch Ratings.

Eric Eraysp has informed that the annual visit of the Agency representatives is to assess the country's rating, the results of which will be published next week.

During the meeting the parties touched upon a number of issues related to the economic stability of the country, debt management, tax reforms, as well as the review of fiscal rules. The course of the initiatives and programs implemented by the Government of Armenia and further steps were discussed.

Atom Janjughazyan highly appreciated the cooperation with Fitch Ratings and noted that the Armenian side attached importance to the work done by the Agency and the rating it had granted to Armenia.
