RA Minister of Agriculture Artur Khachatryan convened a consultation with representatives of a number of dried-fruit producers.

Emphasizing the importance of the processing sector in the development of the agricultural sector, Artur Khachatryan informed about the new programs and initiatives implemented in this direction. The Information and Public Relations Department of the RA Ministry of Agriculture reported that a new leasing program was presented to the participants of the meeting, under which only beneficiaries with a lease interest rate of 4 % will be able to purchase any equipment used in agro-production, which will allow to prolong the seasonality of agricultural production , including equipment used in dry rooms and refrigeration facilities. The program is planned to be launched this year.
