Employees of the Lydian Armenia mine, operating in Amulsar, and residents of a number of communities in Vayots Dzor, protested in front of the government building demanding the executive body to take measures to open roads which had been closed for ten days by environmentalists and their supporters leading to the mine and resume construction works in the mine..

Protest participants sent a letter to government representatives addressed to Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan. Hayk Aloyan, executive director of the company, told journalists that their request was to urge the prime minister to open the way to the mine.
