Passenger flow of two airports of Armenia in January-June 2018 has made about 1.7 million people, the figure is 10.3% more than the same period of 2017.

According to the Department of Information and Public Relations of the General Aviation Department of Armenia, in June of this year, the passenger flow in the two airports made 251.000 people, exceeding the indicator of the same month of the last year by 14.8%.

In June Yerevan's Zvartnots Airport's passenger flow amounted to 234,738 people, exceeding the previous year's figure by 11.1%. In January-June, compared to the same months of 2017, the passenger flow grew by 6.8%. The cargo transportation in the first six months amounted to 7980 tons, compared with 10912 tons in the same month of the previous year.

In June 2018 the passenger flow at the Shirak airport in Gyumri was 16,738. In the same month of the year, the flow of passengers made 7744 people. Passenger flow in January-June made 7688 people, making 35,173 people in the same period last year.

In January-June 2018 Zvartnots and Shirak airports also recorded an increase of 11.3% compared to the same month of the previous year.
