
Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received Tarek Ibrahim Mohammad Maati, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Arab Republic of Egypt to the Republic of Armenia.
The prime minister highly assessed the level of Armenian-Egyptian political relations and attached importance to the development and expansion of cooperation in the sphere of economy. Nikol Pashinyan underscored that the Armenian government is interested in strengthening trade and economic ties, expanding its capital in the Armenian market. The executive head emphasized that the government guarantees the security of each investment project operating in the legal field and highlights the increase in foreign investments.
Ambassador Maathi touched upon the centuries-old Armenian-Egyptian ties and expressed confidence that they would continue to develop and strengthen.
The interlocutors underscored the necessity of bilateral high-level mutual visits and discussion of the Armenian-Egyptian agenda issues to effectively address them and implement new joint programs. Prime Minister Pashinyan passed his greetings to Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al-Sisi.
