Spayka LLC has hidden its real turnover from the tax authorities, as a result of which the state budget did not receive about 2 billion drams.
According to SRC press service, on July 9, 2018, the State Revenue Committee's Tax Inspectorate for Large and Medium Tax Inspection received the results of the preliminary investigation conducted in Spayka LLC on violations by the company in the period of 2015-2018 by paying less tax liabilities. Based on the report, materials were prepared under Article 180-181 of the Criminal Procedure Code of the RA SRC. Factual data have been obtained that from January 1, 2015 to April 30, 2018, "Spayka" LTD exported 61.084.701 kilograms tomatoes of 18,671,808,672 drams from Armenia to EEU countries, mainly to the Russian Federation.
Sales of at least 44.912.368 kilograms of exported tomatoes were reported by the company's responsible employees in accounting and other documents with unreliable value, declaring one kilogram of tomatoes from 105.28 to 373.43 drams, while in the same period the price of one kilo of tomatoes in Russia was considerably higher than the presented one.
On July 13, 2018 a criminal case was initiated in the Investigation Department of the SRC with the features of Part 2 of Article 205 of the RA Criminal Code.
