Cases of tax offenses to avoid administrative penalties for violation of traffic rules have been revealed. As a result of non-payment of administrative penalties because of deceit and official negligence, the state has suffered a loss of 1.38 billion drams, the criminal case has been initiated.

During 2016-2017 a number of owners of automobile, including taxi service providers, avoided paying administrative fines for road traffic violations presenting documents in the name of individuals or entities with no income. As a result, traffic police officers registered a total of 765 million drams fine for 97429 administrative offenses in the name of 478 individuals with no property or income.
