Ruzanna Beglaryan, the wife of Vachagan Ghazaryan, the former head of the RA Presidential Guard, has been charged with committing publicly dangerous acts under Part 2 of Article 314.3 of the RA Criminal Code and Part 1 of Article 310.1 of the RA Criminal Code, as a member of the family of the official who has concealed the data on the real amount of her money, the press service of the RA Special Investigative Service reports.

"Beglaryan submitted to the Ethics Committee of high-ranking officials of Armenia on May 22, 2018 a property and income declaration for 2017, as well as for 2014, 2015, 2016, of 25 million drams, $ 29,000 and € 17,400. Meanwhile, the investigation revealed that R. Beglaryan in the declaration of property and income for 2017, she has hidden information on the actual amount of her income, hidding 350 million drams, and her declared property significantly increased her real revenues during the reporting period, "says the SIS statement.

As a restrictive measure against Beglaryan a written undertaking not to leave was chosen. The preliminary investigation is ongoing.
