Ban on single-use bags has started

The process of banning single-use polyethylene bags has started in the city of Talin of Aragatsotn province, the press service of the Ministry of Nature Protection of Armenia informs.

Within the framework of the project, Talin municipality jointly with the Ministry of Nature Protection conducted the first public hearing. First Deputy Minister of Nature Protection Irina Ghaplanyan, Talin Mayor Sargis Aramyan and a number of non-governmental organizations participated in the meeting.

There were also teachers, municipal employees, private sector representatives and residents.
