Germany will do its best to have a visa liberalized visa regime with Armenia, German Chancellor Angela Merkel said at a joint news conference with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashchian in Yerevan.

Nikol Pashinyan also mentioned that there have already been negotiations on this issue.

"We expect that this issue will progress and we will do our utmost to give it a breakthrough," said Chancellor.

In his turn, Pashinyan noted that during the negotiations there was a discussion of the issue.
