According to the official statistics, in August the deflation for different types of shoes was 2.7%, clothes - 2.2%, cleaning products, detergents and other home care products - 0.9%, jewelry accessories - 0.8%, fuel and lubricants -0.3% .

At the same time, the republic registered inflation of 0.1% for pharmaceutical products, for carpets and floor coverings - 0.1%, for household electrical appliances - 0.3%, for repair materials - 0.6% for household and garden tools - 0,8%, for dishes - 1,2%, but the prices for furniture remained unchanged compared to the previous month.

The price of petrol remained unchanged in August, 2018 compared with July, and diesel fuel has grown by 0.7%. In August 2018 compared to August 2017 Petrol and diesel fuel prices have grown by 17.1% and 28.8% respectively in Armenia and as compared to December 2017- by 9.3% and 23.3% inflation.
