It is expected that the budget deficit in 2019 will be 151.6 billion drams. Acting Finance Minister Atom Janjughazyan announced this from the rostrum of the National Assembly, presenting the draft budget for the next year.

He said, it is expected to receive a loan of 241 billion drams, to repay a loan of 85 billion drams. According to Janjughazyan, the assessment of government debt service is 357 billion drams.

“The ratio of government debt and GDP will remain at 2.3%. A large proportion of government spending will stabilize in 2019,” said Atom Janjughazyan.
