Government representatives said the 2019 budget is an inertial budget. The Republican faction, in turn, said it would stand for the draft budget, because the country needs a budget, but several politicians belonging to the political wing of the party voted against the main financial document.

Before the vote, NA Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov stated that this is not a inertial, but a regressive budget.

“Despite the fact that my Republican faction has announced that it will vote for the draft budget, but given the content of the budget, I will vote against it. Thus, the economy will not develop, but will move in the opposite direction, ”said Sharmazanov.

Another Vice President of the National Assembly, Arpine Hovhannisyan, also announced that she was against the draft law, noting that this is a promise not of 100% fulfillment, but of not implementing the budget.
