
By the decision of the Council of the Central Bank of Armenia, from November 22, 2018, banknotes of the Republic of Armenia of 2018 with a nominal value of ten thousand, twenty thousand and fifty thousand drams were put into circulation. It has been established that banknotes of the Republic of Armenia of 2018 issue with a nominal value of ten thousand, twenty thousand and fifty thousand drams in the territory of the Republic of Armenia are legal tender and must be unconditionally accepted at their nominal value in exchange for all obligations expressed in money without any restrictions.
Banknotes of the Republic of Armenia for 2003, 2006, 2008 and 2012 issue with a nominal value of ten thousand drams remain in circulation without any restrictions and changes in the terms of circulation. Banknotes of the Republic of Armenia for 1999, 2007, 2009, 2012 issue with a nominal value of twenty thousand drams remain in circulation without any restrictions and changes in the terms of circulation. Banknotes of the Republic of Armenia of 2001 with a nominal value of fifty thousand drams remain in circulation without any restrictions and changes in the terms of circulation.
Recall that the notes of previous issues will be released from circulation as they wear out.
Banknotes of the Republic of Armenia in 2018 with a nominal value of one thousand, two thousand, and five thousand drams will be put into circulation on December 25, 2018.
It should be noted that new banknotes with a nominal value of 100,000 drams will not be issued, and banknotes issued in 2009 with a nominal value of 100,000 drams remain in circulation without any restrictions or changes in the terms of circulation.
