“The Armenian government is seriously studying the aviation sector to revise its pricing policy regarding air tickets,” said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan in the National Assembly, answering a question from Gevorg Papoyan’s member of My Step faction.

“In Davos, we had a very productive meeting with Martin Ernekian, the manager of the company that controls Yerevan Zvartnots and Gyumri airports. We had a very direct conversation, and he said that the dog’s head was buried in the system of prices and supplies of aviation fuel. Now we are seriously studying what we can do in this area, because it is possible that monopoly mechanisms are the cause, but this is definitely a very serious matter, ”said Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister noted that the fall in air ticket prices will be an incentive for the development of tourism.
