Banks and payment systems in Russia are developing a service that will allow cash withdrawal from bank plastic cards in store cash desks, reports Vedomosti.

It is noted that the launch of this service is conditioned by the need to reduce the cost of cashing operations in banks.

It is reported that Sberbank plans to launch this service in the second quarter of 2018.

It is noted that this technology is being studied in Russia at MasterCard, which has already been tested in several banks, including VTB and Russian Standard.
