In 2017 Armenia exported 285,000 carats of diamonds, totaling $ 96.1 million.
In terms of weight, the annual growth was 68.2%, while the customs value dropped to 8.2%. Armenia's diamonds were exported mainly to UAE (47.9%), Russia (24.5%), Belgium (14.3%), as well as the United States, Canada and Switzerland.
