At the Friday session, the Bank of Russia decided to keep its principal interest rate at 7.25% annual interest rate.

The Regulator noted that annual inflation will remain at a low level.

"At the same time, the weakening of the ruble against the backdrop of the tension in the geopolitical events in April will result in a 4% increase in consumer goods, but will not create risks for the overall inflation," the Central Bank of Russia reported.
