The US Treasury Department has decided to exclude the Estonian Coop Pank (formerly Krediidipank) from a list of businesses that have been under sanctions.

The US State Department have spread sanctions imposed on Russian enterprises in September 2016 on AS Eesti Krediidipank since 59 % of Krediidipank's shares belonged to the BM bank at that time, which was part of the VTB Group.

In 2017 Estonian Coop bought the bank for 800 million rubles and renamed it .
