The Bank of Russia has the right to conduct "special events" in banks without warning. The corresponding law was signed by Russian President Vladimir Putin.
The law permits CB employees to carry out a search in banks. This will require the permit of the head of the Central Bank, two witnesses, and the process will be filmed.
The law will come into force in 2019.
