The trade war between the United States and China will only intensify in the foreseeable future, reports Bloomberg, citing analysts at investment bank Goldman Sachs.

Experts are convinced that the trade war will allow Washington to return the largest production to the country, which, in turn, will allow the US to dominate in China.

Thus, the experts considered several options for the outcome of the meeting of the head of the White House, Donald Trump, and the PRC Chairman Xi Jinping at the G20 summit in Argentina.

The most optimistic option is that the leaders of the two countries abandon the restrictions already imposed between the two countries, but this is unlikely.

A more realistic scenario is that import duties will only increase, and after the trade war, further escalation will follow, analysts emphasize.
