The federal court of the US state of Illinois filed a lawsuit against Russian Aeroflot for 3.6 million dollars.

The lawsuit was filed by several passengers of the airline who tried to fly to the United States from Moscow's Sheremetyevo Airport. According to them, due to poorly organized registration procedure, they could not get on board. In addition, the airline refused to provide them with seats on the next flight. Passengers had to spend one day at the airport and then buy tickets for 2500 dollars at their own expense.

The plaintiffs intend to achieve giving the claim of collective status so that other victims can join it. Currently, the amount of the claim is 3.6 million dollars. The final amount must be determined by the court.
