The State Revenue Committee informs that there is no need to carry out any customs operations for cargo transportation and / or passenger transportation between the airports located within the customs territory of the Eurasian Economic Union.
The reason is that since January 2, 2015, customs control over air passenger and freight transit has been abolished at international airports in Armenia and other EEU member states, which take place directly between the RA and the EEU Member States. Consequently, the 280 kg fish in question was not subject to customs clearance or control when transporting by air from Armenia to Russia. In this case, it is not a customs but a veterinary control, the implementation of which is beyond the competence of the RA SRC.
