RA Minister of Economic Development and Investments Suren Karayan visited the construction site of "Syunik Food" company to get acquainted with the implementation process of the investment program. According to the information and public relations department of the RA Ministry of Economic Development and Investments, the establishment of the plant for the organization of canned production is under way. The minister was informed that the construction works are coming to the end and the workshop will soon be put into operation. During the project it is planned to create about 20 main jobs and about 210 seasonal jobs. About 60% of the production is planned to be exported to the EAEU member-countries, Georgia, EU, USA. By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Armenia, the Company was exempted from imported equipment and raw customs and received additional time for VAT payment deadline.
