In the number of Russia's tourist visits to foreign countries Armenia is in leading 3 dozen.

According to the Russian Tourist Agency, from January 1 to June 30, 2017 the number of outgoing Russian tourists shows that foreign trips from Russia for the first time increased by almost one third in four years.

Particularly, the number of outgoing tourists from Russia to Armenia has increased by 37% to 171 thousand, and the total number of outgoing Russian tourists made 17 million.

In the first half of the current year, the total number of foreign tourists in Armenia exceeded 1.3 million, which is 24.3% more than the annual index. Citizens of Russia, Georgia and Iran are in the top three in the list of entries to Armenia.
