VTB Bank (Armenia) offers students who are paying for their tuition to get a low interest rate student loan in order to ease the financial burden. Students are given the exclusive opportunity to pay only loan interest during their studies, and take care of the repayment of the principal debt after obtaining higher education diplomas. In addition, there is a lower rate of interest for students with excellent academic performance.

According to the bank's report, student loans are provided to pay tuition fees for undergraduate and master's degree programs in nearly 60 educational state institutions and institutions with state accreditation.

A student loan can be received by RA citizens and residents who have reached the age of 16. The loan is provided only with the guarantee of a student's parent or guardian. There is no income required for the loan to be received by the borrower (student), only the income of a student's parent or guardian. And in the case when the student's parent or guardian is inadequate, the involvement of the co-borrower is possible.

The decision to grant a loan is made by the Bank within a maximum of 2 working days.

Basic loan terms:

• Currency: AMD

• Annual interest rate - 10%, for excellent students - 9%

• Maximum loan term- duration of training + 6 years (no more than 10)

• Maximum amount of one academic year - 450 000 AMD

• The maximum amount for the whole period of training - 1,800,000 AMD

• No Commission is charged
